You must get dressed! Let’s be honest, somedays leggings and a tee shirt are as high as you want to go on the fashion scale. That’s ok! But why not make it cute? You feel better in cute. Comfy leggings and an oversized T shirt brings you right back to the days when a high pony, a swipe of mascara and lipgloss was all you needed to take on the world. That is still true today. You don’t have to be dressed to diva status to be fashionable, go grab that gloss and get on with the day.
Home office work days are now notorious for PJ’s and slippers. Go ahead, get cozy, but think about the work/home environment. Dressing for the day will make you more productive, it also creates a boundary between work and home. That is so important when the days have a tendency now to run together. If you stay in your PJ’s all day, where is the line between relaxation and work? The lines get very blurred, and the next thing you know…you never leave work.
